His musical creations are truly inspirational and amazing, yet he stays so humble about his abilities. On top of his music composition and sfx skills, he is very positive, helpful, humorous, and also assertive during meetings. Chandra Oyuget Cheung's Journey
My love for music began with a controller in one hand and a melody stuck in my head.I was deeply shaped by the unforgettable soundtracks of classic JRPGs : Final Fantasy, Suikoden, SaGa Frontier, games where the music was the soul of the story. Back then, I wasn’t just a player; I was unknowingly studying how music and sound create emotional weight in a digital world. As the gaming industry evolved, so did my immersion. I ventured into more cinematic and tactical worlds like Metal Gear Solid, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, and fast-paced, competitive titles such as Dota, Dota 2, Counter-Strike, Apex Legends, and Valorant. I spent countless hours in MMOs like Nexia Online, Ragnarok Online, Silkroad, Laghaim, Cabal Online, and later, Final Fantasy XIV, worlds that deepened my sensitivity to atmosphere, pacing, and sound design in open environments. I also explored modern mobile titles like PUBG Mobile, Mobile Legends, and indie gems like Valheim, each offering different perspectives on how audio supports gameplay.Alongside that digital journey, I was grounded in the analog world of music. Growing up with senior musicians who loved classic rock, I picked up the electric guitar and eventually found myself performing live in bands, most notably with Chishinbo in 2013 at the Classic Rock Parade. That hands-on experience taught me about energy, timing, tone, and the magic of live performance.

Eventually, these two worlds : gaming and music collided. In 2014, I founded Oyuget Soundworks to bridge the emotional language of music with the immersive demands of interactive media. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to creating cinematic scores, dynamic sound effects, and technically sound audio implementations for video games, trailers, and cinematic content. This isn’t just a job for me. It’s a lifelong pursuit, translating feeling into frequency, memory into melody, and story into sound.
